Helping Us Reach Those in the Most Need

Remember the story of the mother we met in one of the mountain communities that suddenly became deaf? Bless An Orphan paid to have a thorough medical exam to see if there was something that could be done. The Dr discovered she had a very serious infection that needed immediate treatment and that her hearing loss is irreversible and she will need special hearing aids if she is ever able to hear again. The hearing aids that she will specifically need are $2,500. We would love to make that happen for her. We will trust God to speak to someone that would like to sponsor her. In the meantime I hired this sweet incredibly hard working woman to help us with the children’s home renovations. We were absolutely blown away with how physically strong she is! It took half a day for a couple men to plant a few bamboo trees in the very hard soil. She planted thirteen 8 ft tall trees by herself within 2 hours! (She is pictured in the purple shirt). These mountain woman must be strong because they are responsible for farming their land to feed their families.

It is a huge blessing for woman like her to have an opportunity to work and earn a little extra money to help care for their children. Thank YOU for helping us to reach those in the most need!
